Satu lagi jebolan LAIF 2008 yang kurang beruntung. hwaalaaah…. tapi ini band keren. hasil mixing lagu mereka yang masuk LAIF rapih banget, gw inget NOID itu inget boot salah satu personelnya, hehehe. soale waktu itu gw lagi pengen punya boot tinggi.

Musik yang mereka anut ga jauh beda dengan eyeliner, koil, kubik, NIN, dan band electronic rock lainnya. Gw sempet sangsi kalo band kaya gini, masih ada di jakarta. tapi….. they exist

Disco, Rock n Roll???? definisikan sendiri aja. band duet asal bogor ini memang mantab… apalagi kalo nonton live performance-nya, tapi yang gw sayangkan adalah. kenapa ga nambahin personil cewe. hehehehe

Album Lust Lust Lust ini memiliki jenis sound yang lebih bebas dibanding sebelumnya. Gw gak bilang album ini lebih bagus atau jelek, tapi hal ini memang lumrah bagi musisi yang mengubah pola musiknya pada album berikutnya dan ini layak dijadikan rekomendasi.  Album ini mengingatkan gw akan The Jesus and Mary Chain. hhmmmm lawas ya..??

Band ini dimulai sejarahnya di oxford tahun 1984 dengan membentuk band bernama Shake Appeal, nama ini diambil dari lagu sebuah band yang merupakan inspirasi terbesar mereka The Stooges.

Personilawal mereka : Adam Franklin dan jimmy hartridge, Graham Franklin , Adi vines dan paddy pulser. Band ini mulai berantakan saGraham dan pulse cabut, mereka cuma punya 7 singel saat itu.

Tiga personil sisa ini akhirnya yang membentuk band Swervedriver dengan merekrut Graham Bonnar untuk mengisi posisi drummer.

Musik mereka bisa gw samaain dengan band-band terdahulunya kaya Sonic Youth, Dinosaur Jr, The Who dan Catherine Wheel kali ya.

Sebuah diskografi lengkap dari band bernama PULP yang vokalisnya menginspirasi gw untuk ga malu bergoyang di atas panggung. fiuhh viva jarvis cocker..
